1. Check whether the keyway and mounting hole are clean

At the same time, the taper sleeve is an important part of the direct connection between the belt pulley and the machine. We need to clean the inner bore of the pulley with gasoline regularly. Secondly, the pulley surface is rust proof
The surface of standard belt pulley is smooth without burrs, and the color is uniform. It is manufactured in the factory according to the standard weight ratio of 50:50. If the pulley surface is oxidized and rusted, the weight of the pulley will be affected. This is the imagination of the pulley during running. One of the common reasons. Surface treatment of belt pulley: the surface treatment of belt pulley requires cleaning the surface with gasoline and non-woven cotton cloth, and then coating the surface with a layer of antirust oil.
3、 Belt tension and belt wear
1. Check the belt tension: the belt tension can be checked by pressing the belt between two pulleys with thumb. The pressure is about 10kg. If the belt pressure is about 10mm, the belt tension is considered appropriate. If the pressing amount is too large, the belt tension is considered insufficient. If the belt hardly decelerates, the belt tension is considered too large. When the tension is insufficient, the belt is easy to slide. When the tension is too large, it is easy to damage the bearings of various auxiliary machines. To do this, loosen the relevant adjusting nut or bolt to adjust the tension of the belt to the best condition.
2、 Belt wear inspection: the use of the belt will wear, and the old belt will be severely worn, which will sharply reduce the contact area between the belt and the pulley. At this time, as long as the belt is pressed hard, the belt will sink deeply into the groove of the pulley. The rubber of the belt is also aging. If the belt rubber is seriously deteriorated, it must be replaced with a new belt in time.
